Molecular sieves are highly efficient desiccants used to dry gases and liquids, while selectively separating molecules based on their size and shape. They can reduce relative humidity to as low as 0–10% RH, making them ideal for applications requiring extremely dry conditions.

Common applications include transformer breathers, compressed air systems, electrical enclosures, refrigeration equipment and air conditioning systems.
